Mike is married with four children. He met and married his wife Christie while they were students at Purdue University. Mike currently applies his chemistry training in the research labs of a large Central Indiana pharmaceutical company and his wife applies her engineering skills toward pedagogical problem solving as she homeschools their four children. John Kelly
John enjoys theology, history, and the outdoors. He and his wife Jenny have 4 married children and 10 grandchildren. Recently retired from the Postal Service, John and Jenny plan to travel and spend time with family. He looks forward to serving others and volunteering in this next phase of life.
Mike Lawson
Mike is married to Denise. They both have been employees at Lily throughout their adulthoods. He is now retired and enjoys the lake, working Pacers games, and biking America. He has 6 children who are all adults.
Rob Covert
Rob has been married to his wife, Julie, for almost forty years, is a father of four, and a grandfather of four. He has lived in the Indianapolis area his entire life, works in graphic arts, and enjoys nothing more than spending time with his family.
Staff
Julie Covert-Music Director
Julie Covert has been playing the piano for most of her life. She started playing for Sunday school at age 9 and played for the Junior High orchestra starting in fourth grade. Julie received her Bachelor of Music Education from Butler University studying organ, voice, and piano. She taught elementary music in Lawrence Township for six years before starting a family. Julie was hired as Organist at St. Matthew Lutheran Church at age 16 and served there for 8 years. Then she served as the Music Director at Grace Presbyterian Church for 26 years as an Organist and Adult and Junior Choir Director. Julie had an active Piano studio and gave piano lessons for 35 years.
Julie has been happily married to Rob for almost 40 years and they have 4 children and 5 grandchildren. Julie home-educated their children for 22 years and taught all 4 of them piano. Her two oldest daughters are pianists at their churches. Julie and Rob have been supporters of the pro-life movement and have supported Life Centers for many years. After Julie finished homeschooling, she started as a volunteer at Life Centers. She became part of the Staff in 2020 and now serves as the Director of the South Center in Indianapolis.
